“Bridgerton” is my guilty pleasure.
After I’ve watched the two seasons on Netflix, something started to move in my mind.
To be honest, I never appreciated this specific costume period, the Regency.
However, after several researches and an accurate study of the lines and patterns, I’ve been fascinated.
During the entire process, I was listening to one of my favourite composer, Ludwig van Beethoven, especially Symphony n°. 3, known as “Eroica”.
I found this lovely cream Indian silk in my stash and I made the dress, embellished by a golden trimming.
Since this dress wasn’t enough rich for some court events, I made a kind of trail, in a crem embroidered Indian jacquard.
They match perfectly, aren’t they?
I can say that I’m ready for the social season, which is upon us.
Yours truly,
Lady Whistledown.
