Althought it was very hard to find histodical sources of the Assyro-Babilonian Empire, bas-relief and statues were very usefull for my research, especially for studying costumes and hairstyles.
I have realized mine costumes according to the typical assirian style: long and avish robes, full of trimmings, fringes and embroideries.
