Kimono made for “Music” Fashion Show – Accademia Italiana di Arte, Moda e Design, 2010.
The theme was inspired by the music and the chosen opera “Madame Buttefly” by G.Puccini.
I though a modern Cho Cho-San in a typical japanese kimono style.
The sheat dress is in lilac silk taffetta, over it a black silk shantung kimono in asymmetric cut, wrapped in the obi, the japanese belt, made in synthetic burgundy taffetta, overlayed in red-violet organza. All the kimono in rimmed in red satin ribbon.
